Job summary

Penske Logistics in Duluth, GA is seeking a Field Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives across a defined territory, focusing on talent development, onboarding, retention, leadership development, workforce planning and compliance, reporting to Area HR Manager. Travel up to 50% to support up to 650 associates across 25 locations, with regular onsite presence at local operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years’ experience in Staffing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Professional certification in SHRM or HRCI is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions and employment law.
• Ability to travel 50% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Lead local associate experience and retention efforts through onboarding, engagement surveys, and recognition events.
• Identify and design solutions to address local retention challenges.
• Support D&I efforts and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Support recruiting team and advise on local sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate on staffing levels, leadership recruiting, and compensation packages.
• Oversee performance development, talent reviews, and leadership training.
• Coordinate training topics including performance, safety, and equal opportunity.
• Partner on associate relations, policy interpretation, and investigations.
• Provide HR analytics to guide local business decisions.
• Ensure payroll and compliance issues are resolved promptly.
