Job summary

Walgreens in Deerfield, IL seeks an HR professional responsible for delivering HR products, services, and solutions to field partners and team members to ensure service excellence.

You will partner with the business to implement local HR strategies, coach field leaders, support onboarding, talent management, and workforce planning, while ensuring compliance with laws and anti-discrimination standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least three years in HR.
• Experience evaluating information for compliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
• Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to various audience levels within an organization.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Coaches field leaders as they develop individual development plans and lead their areas; supports succession planning, performance management, and other talent programs.
• Supports their manager to deliver HR programs, services, and solutions.
• Identifies, prioritizes and resolves requests within established timelines using HR tools and techniques.
• Supports onboarding, mergers and acquisition work, safety compliance, and talent management deployments.
• Conducts training, coaching, and counseling for HQ/COE HR program roll-outs and ensures adoption.
• Supports deployment of resources and tools to maintain a discrimination- and harassment-free workplace, tracking engagement and compliance.
• Assists local leaders in talent acquisition for internships and campus recruiting, and internal store/pharmacy roles.
• Supports workforce planning initiatives for markets as directed by management.
