Job summary

Cambridge Computer is hiring a field-based Data Center Technician to build end-to-end HPC/AI solutions at client sites across the United States. The role requires hands-on installation of server, storage, and network equipment, plus cable management and documentation of processes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data centers, 5+ years installing hardware, and solid Linux basics, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and travel up to half the time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data center environment are required.
• 5+ years installing network and server hardware.
• 5+ years with structured and datacenter cabling.

Responsibilities

• Determine client needs and execute multi-vendor hardware and software.
• Install server, storage, network and related equipment onsite at client sites.
• Document installation processes from start to finish.
• Gain advanced vendor certifications used in our solution stack.
