Job summary

Cambridge Computer is seeking an experienced HPC AI Technologist to work as a field-based consultant, building end-to-end research computing system solutions for diverse client environments in the US. You will leverage your deep expertise in scientific computing and the technology landscape to drive outcomes beyond expectations.

You will deploy new HPC/AI solutions, guide clients through design decisions, and lead engagements with clear deliverables, documentation, and knowledge transfer, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying services or cluster administration.
• Degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GPU-focused hardware/software and Linux administration.
• Background with storage technologies and parallel filesystems.

Responsibilities

• Gather client requirements and design optimized HPC/AI solutions across multiple vendors.
• Deploy new HPC/AI solutions or augment existing ones from the ground up.
• Consult on day-to-day management of clients' research compute infrastructures.
• Maintain HPC/AI environments on Linux for multiple clients.
• Lead technical discussions and act as the client-facing technical advisor.
• Validate designs to meet client requirements and feasibility.
• Produce documentation and knowledge transfer for client environments.
• Demonstrate expertise in storage, networking, data protection, and archiving.
• Gain vendor certifications in Cambridge's solution stack.
