Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Hospice Liaison to drive outside sales and business development in the Cumberland County area. This role focuses on educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services and building referral relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices.

Travel is required around 50% in the territory; compensation includes a base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus monthly incentives, with benefits such as medical plans, PTO, wellness

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare-related business development/outreach experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources (hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices).
• Coordinates patient admissions and referral to admission process.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Achieves admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Documents sales calls in CRM daily.
• Promotes Amedisys at community events.
