Job summary

Amedisys in New Jersey is seeking a hospice liaison to drive growth through outside sales and business development in healthcare. You will educate health care professionals, patients and families about home care services, and develop key referral relationships across hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices.

The role requires travel 50% or more within Ocean County territory, on-site work, and a focus on admissions, payor-mix goals, and timely CRM updates.

Qualifications

• At least one year of healthcare business development/outreach experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices.
• Coordinates patient admissions with the team and completes referral to admission process.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Achieves admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Documents sales calls daily in CRM and maintains territory contacts.
• Attends community events to promote Amedisys.
• Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
