Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a hospice liaison to make a difference daily in York County. You will educate healthcare professionals, patients and families about home care services and develop relationships with hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads.

This outside sales role requires travel 50%+, with territory management in York County. Compensation includes $80,000-$95,000 plus bonus potential, plus comprehensive benefits and company perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare-related business development/outreach.
• Background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hospital, home health, hospice or long-term care is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources (hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices).
• Coordinates patient admissions with the team and completes referral to admission processes.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals in CRM.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Documents the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM.
• Attends community events to promote Amedisys.
• Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
