Qualifications
- Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
- Proficiency with HVAC and basic electrical systems and the ability to evaluate common defects and safety issues.
- Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
- Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Field-based work on-site at residential properties across the Chattanooga area.
- Inspections covering structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Client interaction with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents; maintain professional communication.
- Use company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports and deliver within turnaround times.
