Komatsu is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician (Field) in Rock Springs, WY. The engineer will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on construction and heavy equipment, cranes, diesel engines, and allied OEM products, following safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate in Diesel Technology preferred.
• Proficient math, rates, ratios and basic calculations for quotes and service work.
• Clear reading and writing; ability to communicate with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Work safely following all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test assemblies.
