Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe for installing fiber and power utilities. You will also perform basic labor tasks and assist with equipment maintenance on site.

The role includes training and mentoring teammates, digging around existing utilities, and working in various outdoor conditions. CDL is a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe).
• Knowledge of utility construction procedures and print reading.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely for installing fiber, copper, coax cables and power lines.
• Assist with basic labor tasks and equipment maintenance.
• Train and mentor other operators and co-workers.
• Perform routine labor such as potholing, conduit/duct/cable placement, and pedestal set-up.
