Job summary

PUSH, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment for fiber-optic, copper, coaxial cables and power lines. You will support installation projects and assist with labor tasks as needed.

The role requires field experience digging around utilities, reading prints and schematics, and the ability to train other operators. A valid driver's license is preferred; CDL may be required.

Qualifications

  • Field experience digging around utilities in rural or urban areas.
  • Experience reading prints and schematics.
  • Ability to train and mentor other team members.
  • Valid Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe safely.
  • Excavate around existing utilities and assist with labor tasks as needed.
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and coordinate with crew.
  • Provide guidance to co-workers learning to operate equipment.
