Job summary

PUSH, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate equipment used to install fiber and power utilities.

You will work with backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows and track hoes, and assist with basic labor tasks in rural and urban settings. The role requires field digging experience around utilities, ability to read prints, mentor teammates, pass pre-employment screenings, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Knowledge of utility construction procedures and reading prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Excavate around existing utilities with care and precision.
• Provide training to co-workers learning to operate equipment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks: potholing, conduit/duct/cable placement.
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
