Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate assigned equipment used to install fiber-optic, copper, coaxial cables, and power lines, with occasional work on sewer or water facilities.

The role requires field experience digging around utilities in varied environments, reading prints/schematics, and the ability to train other team members. This is a field-based position with strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
  • Ability to read prints and schematics for installation work.
  • Willingness to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
  • Excavate around existing utilities safely and efficiently.
  • Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to be operators.
  • Perform routine labor such as conduit/duct/cable placement and equipment setup.
  • Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
  • Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
