Job summary

JKL Associates, a division of PUSH Inc., is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for utility construction to install fiber and power cables. Must have field digging experience and be able to operate multiple heavy machines, read prints, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Ability to train and mentor co-workers learning to be operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Dig around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on construction equipment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks (potholing, setup of equipment, conduit/duct/cable placement).
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to the job site.
• Provide training to co-workers learning to be operators.
