Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a division of PUSH Inc., is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for utility construction to install fiber/copper/coaxial cables and potentially water/sewer facilities. The role requires field digging experience around utilities in rural and urban areas and ability to train teammates.

The candidate will operate backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows, or track hoes, perform routine maintenance, and work in varied outdoor conditions. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Experience operating construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with basic labor duties as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to coworkers learning to operate equipment.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine checks.
