Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a Division of PUSH Inc., seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows and track hoes for fiber and power cable installations. The role includes some basic labor duties and equipment maintenance.

Ideal candidates have field digging experience around utilities and the ability to train teammates. CDL preferred, with willingness to travel for projects.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe).
• Knowledge of print reading and underground utility installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to install fiber, copper, coaxial, power cables.
• Assist with labor tasks and basic site duties as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine checks.
• Mentor and train other operators as required.
• Drive and haul equipment between job sites when needed.
