Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment used to install various cables and power facilities. The role includes assisting with labor duties, training team members, and traveling to job sites as needed.

Qualified candidates have field experience around utilities, knowledge of prints/schematics, and the ability to mentor others. CDL preferred; strong safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Knowledge of print reading and underground utility installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Field experience with digging operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Responsible for daily maintenance on construction equipment used.
• Ability to operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Successfully excavate around existing utilities.
• Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to be operators.
• Perform routine labor (potholing, set-up of equipment, conduit/duct/cable placement, set pedestals).
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
