Job summary

PUSH Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support fiber and utility installation in rural and urban settings. You will operate backhoes, excavators, cable plows and related heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, and assist with labor tasks on site.

Field digging experience around utilities, ability to read prints, and willingness to train teammates are essential; a valid CDL is preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Able to travel and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and basic labor duties.
• Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to operate.
• Assist with conduit/duct/cable placement and pedestal setup.
• Drive tow vehicle to and around job site.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.
