Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate equipment used to install fiber, copper, and power cables, and possibly sewer or water facilities. You will assist with digging operations and provide training to coworkers, with field duties across rural and urban sites.

The role requires experience with utility construction equipment and the ability to read prints and schematics, while maintaining safety and teamwork on multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or trackhoe.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to install and maintain cables and utilities.
• Perform daily maintenance on construction equipment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks such as potholing and conduit placement.
• Train and mentor junior operators on job sites.
• Drive tow vehicle and haul equipment between sites.
