Job summary

PUSH Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate equipment for installing fiber-optic, copper, and coaxial cables, as well as power lines. The role involves supporting labor tasks, training teammates, and working with diverse crews in rural and urban settings.

Ideal candidates will have field digging experience around utilities, knowledge of prints/schematics, and the ability to mentor others while performing equipment maintenance and transport duties.

Qualifications

• Field experience digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe).
• Ability to read prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to install fiber, copper, coax cables, and power cables.
• Assist with basic labor duties and equipment maintenance.
• Provide training to coworkers learning to be operators.
• Drive tow vehicle and transport equipment as needed.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
