Job summary

Converse Consultants in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist or Project Manager to support environmental science, water resources, geotechnical engineering, and soils and materials testing. The role includes field and office tasks, client interface, and report writing, with about 50% outdoor work.

The position welcomes candidates with a BS in environmental science, geology, or engineering, and 1 year of environmental consulting experience; OSHA HAZWOPER training is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering or related field.
• One year of relevant environmental consulting experience is preferred.
• Phase I Site Assessment experience is required or preferred.
• Nevada Project Monitor license for asbestos is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively complete assigned field or office tasks and conduct field work.
• Manage field technicians and interface with clients.
• Write reports and manage projects, including Phase I Site Assessments.
• Approximately 50% of time is spent outdoors and outdoors work is required.
