Job summary

Fidelis Care - New York seeks a Health Benefit Representative to educate individuals about enrolling in NY State of Health plans. The position is 100% field-based within Dutchess County, NY, with Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.

You will help with Medicaid, CHP, EP, QHP, and HARP enrollments and renewals while ensuring ACA compliance and excellent customer service. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in related fields; willingness to work evenings/weekends

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years in managed care, sales or customer service preferred.
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations.
Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred for this field-based role.

Responsibilities

Educate and assist individuals with enrolling in NY State of Health coverage (Medicaid, CHP, EP, QHP, HARP).
Explain eligibility for public programs and tax credits; describe plan features and cost-sharing.
Assist with document submission (scan, fax, mail) and renewals/recertifications.
Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate assistance to diverse communities.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM and monitor daily dashboards for follow-up.
