Job summary

H2ajobs in Yuma, AZ seeks General Laborers to perform field-based tasks on produce such as broccoli and lettuce, plus packaging and loading duties.

Employees may also assist the foreman, operate tractors, and help with washing and tying products. Housing is provided, meals are shared in company housing, and transportation arrangements may apply for workers recruited from outside normal commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Two months of experience in harvesting vegetables.
• Must have color vision to distinguish crop ripeness.
• Must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Harvest vegetables by cutting, washing, bagging, sealing, packing and loading boxes, crates or bins.
• Operate tractors and harvesting machinery.
• Wash products on tables or conveyors after cutting.
• Load and tie products onto field trailers pulled by tractors.
• Assist Foreman/Crew Leader with production duties as a Crew Leader Helper.
