You will trim leaves, remove cores, inspect quality, and assist packing and palletizing. Applicants should have at least 1 month of produce harvest experience, be able to lift up to 50 lb, and work in muddy, dirty conditions. Housing and meals may be provided.

• Experience with harvest work for produce is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Color vision is required to distinguish crops.
• Ability to work in muddy, dirty conditions and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Harvest head lettuce, romaine, and value-added cartons along conveyors.
• Trim outer leaves, core heads, and inspect for defects.
• Pack and seal cartons or totes; prepare for palletizing.
• Move bins and pallets; follow supervisor instructions and safety rules.
