Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers for field harvest operations in Arizona. Workers will spot check produce in the field, sort and fill totes, and transport them via conveyors to loaders. They will stack cartons or bins on pallets and assist with labeling and packing.

Physical work includes lifting and moving boxes up to 50 lbs, with supervision from field supervisors. Housing and meals arrangements are provided when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to use hand tools including cutting knives.
• Color vision required to distinguish crops.

Responsibilities

• Spot check in the field for foreign material and sort produce.
• Load spinach, parsley, beets, kale and other produce onto conveyors and totes.
• Stack loaded totes/bins on pallets and ensure proper labeling and boxing.
• Move irrigation pipes between furrows as directed by field supervisor.
• Assist loaders by closing/covering and stacking pallets.
