Job summary

BC Tech Pro in Rochester, MN seeks a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops. Prior experience with laptop/desktop hardware is required; you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo during onboarding, with all certifications provided at no cost.

This is a 1099 contract role with 2–5 calls per day; pay is per ticket starting at $35, paid Fridays after the first week. Transportation, portal access, and parts handling are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with laptop and desktop hardware repairs.
• Ability to install hardware components in laptops/desktops.
• Onboarding includes Dell/Lenovo certifications provided at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware part replacements for warranty services (Dell/Lenovo).
• Log into the technician portal daily to accept, update status, and map calls.
• Plan onsite visits with customers and coordinate windows for service.
