Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a Computer Field Technician in Maplegrove, MN to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops. The role requires prior hardware experience and certs in Dell and Lenovo, with on-the-job onboarding provided.

As a 1099 contract position, you will handle warranty-related part replacements, coordinate onsite visits with customers, and manage ticketing through the portal. Reliable transport and access to a computer are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with laptop and desktop hardware essential.
• Must have reliable transportation and able to log tickets daily.
• Onboarding includes Dell and Lenovo certifications at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops.
• Replace parts for Dell and Lenovo warranty work.
• Log into the portal by 9 am each workday to accept and update tickets.
• Contact customers to schedule onsite service windows.
• Parts provided by manufacturers; return removed parts with shipping labels.
