Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations in Atlanta, GA seeks a hands-on Hardware Operations Engineer to support onsite installation, maintenance, and field diagnostics for Hawk-Eye and KinaTrax Baseball systems. Travel to stadiums and live events is required.

You will build technical depth through remote diagnostics, kit builds, spare coordination, and collaboration with hardware leads and project teams as you grow into a Hardware Operations Lead role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in hardware support, IT operations, field service, broadcast tech, or sports technology.
• Solid understanding of camera systems, servers, switches, IP addressing, power systems, and cabling.
• Comfortable working in warehouses, labs, and live stadium environments.
• Able to document findings with photos and evidence and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to stadiums to support onsite installations, maintenance, repairs, and hardware QA.
• Perform rigorous hardware checks across cameras, servers, networking gear, power systems, and cabling.
• Serve as first line of hardware troubleshooting; identify failed components, swap parts onsite, coordinate RMAs, ensure system recovery.
• Monitor system health remotely when not onsite and assist with remote troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Hardware Leads, Systems Engineering, TechOps, and Project Management to improve deployment standards.
• Shadow Leads on complex hardware work to grow technical capabilities.
