Job summary

Alc-Health-Care-Services seeks a sales-focused professional to establish and maintain relationships with customers and referral sources. You will respond to requests and concerns, and negotiate contracts with third party payers, government agencies and other entities requesting services.

You will build marketing initiatives, assess markets, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure consistent messaging while pursuing agency growth and optimal reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in home health or hospice sales.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in hospice and home health services.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
• Organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements marketing initiatives.
• Negotiates contracts with managed care companies, government agencies and other payers.
• Establishes systems for market assessment and develops a marketing plan.
• Maintains relationships with referral sources and payers.
• Participates in budget development and monitors resource use.
• Strategic planning with management to improve services.
• Keeps knowledge of markets, referral sources, and competitors.
• Develops information on community resources for customers and staff.
• Participates in annual agency evaluation in marketing and growth.
• Prepares reports of marketing activities and effectiveness.
• Works with clinical staff to ensure consistent customer messaging.
• Other activities as directed.
