Job summary

Site Work Specialists in Rapid City, SD is seeking a laborer to learn site development, excavation, grading and utilities on challenging projects in the northern plains. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with overtime eligibility and weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
• Must have personal transportation to and from job sites, including out-of-town work
• Must arrive on time to job site fit for duty for required shift and have PPE and necessary tools
• Attend all safety meetings and maintain safe job site practices
• Wear PPE as directed by supervisor and safety team including hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility vests
• Willingness to travel out-of-town
• Work overtime as required, including some weekends
• Maintain acceptable personal hygiene
• Dress appropriately for working conditions

Responsibilities

• Retrieve materials
• Survey staking and assist with site grading
• Manually shovel materials including gravel and dirt
• Maintain clean work area and job site
• Assist Superintendent, Foreman, and Operators as needed
• Operate a Bobcat
• Take direction and accomplish duties outlined by supervisor
• Be dependable to your team: you work as a team and progress as a team
• Assist with all tasks; even if it is below your skill level
