Job summary
Geo-Technology Associates (GTA) in Beaver Falls, PA, is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to provide observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental development projects. You will monitor and test moisture and density of soils with a nuclear gauge, evaluate concrete and asphalt, and document construction activities to ensure compliance with specs.
Daily field reports and test summaries are required as part of your duties.
Qualifications
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or GED with strong writing and math skills.
- Roadway construction experience preferred.
- One or more current certifications: NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC or FPO.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and test moisture and density of soils using a nuclear gauge.
- Test concrete and asphalt and other materials per specs.
- Observe construction activities and prepare daily field reports and test summaries.
