Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in DuBois, PA seeks a Geotechnical Field Technician to support geotechnical and environmental projects in the field. You will work on active construction sites, collaborating with experienced professionals and serving clients in both public and private sectors.

The role involves field testing, reporting, and travel to project sites, with overtime possible. You will be part of a team that values safety, accuracy, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Own Transportation, Valid Driver's License and Good Driving Record REQUIRED
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds regularly
• Outdoor work and field-based responsibilities
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation and testing to support geotechnical and environmental projects
• Monitor and test soil moisture and density using a nuclear density gauge
• Conduct testing of concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Prepare clear, accurate daily field reports and test summaries to document work performed
