Job summary

Xpanner is seeking a Field GPS Specialist to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS machine control systems on heavy equipment at active job sites. You’ll deliver hands-on field support and operator training to keep machines accurate, reliable, and productive while traveling 50–75% across the U.S.

Collaborating with operators, project managers, engineers, and service teams, you’ll implement system upgrades, document activities, and uphold safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with GPS machine control solutions on heavy equipment.
• Experience installing, supporting, and calibrating GPS machine control systems in field environments.
• Strong on-site communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, calibrate, and maintain GPS machine control systems on pile-driving machines, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
• Perform localizations, calibrations, diagnostics, and routine checks to maintain system accuracy.
• Train operators and site personnel on GPS hardware, software, and workflows; troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with operators, project managers, engineers, and service teams to implement upgrades and ensure smooth field operations.
