Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geologist/Hydrogeologist to evaluate subsurface data, interpret soil and groundwater, and support site investigations in Raleigh, NC.

You will generate maps and cross-sections and collaborate with engineering and environmental staff on various projects, including earthwork foundations and remediation activities. The role involves field testing, boring investigations, data interpretation, and preparing plans and written reports for Phase I/II assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field and 3+ years of related experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advancement.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subsurface data and develop site condition conclusions.
• Generate subsurface maps and cross-sections.
• Oversee field monitoring and soil testing including borings.
• Prepare written plans and reports for site investigations and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists.
• Supervise field staff and coordinate data collection.
• Develop client proposals and presentations.
