Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geologist/Hydrogeologist to evaluate subsurface data and interpret site conditions. You will generate maps and cross-sections, oversee field monitoring and soils testing, and interpret groundwater data for investigations and remediation projects.

The role involves preparing written plans and collaborating with engineering and environmental staff on diverse assignments, including earthwork, foundation design and seismic risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field (1+ year experience).
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subsurface field and sampling data to interpret site conditions.
• Generate subsurface maps and cross-sections with engineering staff.
• Oversee field monitoring and soils testing, including boring investigations.
• Interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater elevation and quality data.
• Prepare plans and reports for site investigations, assessments and remediation activities.
• Coordinate with project teams on earthwork, foundations and seismic risk assessments.
