Kirby is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose problems and perform complex mechanical, electrical, and power generation repairs at customer sites across the oilfield equipment fleet. This position requires 90% travel and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

You will troubleshoot, replace parts, and perform routine maintenance on power generation and oilfield equipment, while reading manuals and using diverse diagnostic tools.

Formación

• High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and three to seven years related
• Preferred to be certified as an MTU CHP S1/ EM1. Certificates & Licenses Technical certification in automotive, lift truck, heavy equipment and/or diesel engine repair required.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose all problems with customer's equipment.
• Identify and order parts necessary to complete repairs and routine maintenance.
• Perform complex and/or major repairs on customer's equipment. Replace parts and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.
• Complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate and timely manner.
• Assist lower-level Technicians in completing work assignments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Use a variety of electronic test equipment including DMMs, Insulation tester up to 15kv, Hi-pot tester up to 34kv, thermo imaging cameras, sound meters, gas detectors, laser tachometers, manometers, multichannel data acquisition systems.
