Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking an entry-level Generator Engineer I for Field Outage Services. This role supports scheduled and emergent maintenance on turbine generators and associated equipment.

You will assist with inspections, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and safe outage execution, under supervision, with frequent travel required. As part of a structured program, you will build core generator competencies through training and progressively independent assignments, developing

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
• New graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, rotating equipment, engineering calculations, and problem-solving.
• Ability to learn generator construction, field testing methods, inspection practices, and repair processes.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with generator installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Learn to perform and document electrical and mechanical testing (IR, PI, RSO, etc.).
• Support inspections of stators, rotors, and components.
• Collect field data, measurements, and test results; escalate abnormal conditions.
• Prepare field reports, inspection findings, and risk assessments.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and procedures with coaching.
