Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Generator Engineer I, Field Outage Services, an entry-level role designed to develop hands-on skills in turbine generator maintenance and testing. Under supervision, you will assist with inspections, data collection, testing, and outage execution on site with travel.

The position emphasizes safety, professional growth, and teamwork, with opportunities to participate in field reports, procedures, and customer communication while advancing core generator

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution; new graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, rotating equipment, engineering calculations, and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)—approximately 70% or more.

Responsabilidades

• Assist experienced engineers with generator installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Learn and document generator electrical and mechanical testing procedures (IR, PI, RSO, DLRO, etc.).
• Support inspections of generator stators, rotors, and components; collect field data and elevate abnormalities for review.
• Prepare field reports, inspection findings, and risk assessments; assist with test procedures and outage planning documents.
