Avangrid in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Supervisor-Gas Maintenance & Operations to oversee in-house crews and contractors. You will schedule street crew work, assess projects, ensure material readiness, and monitor gas records for audit and compliance.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, knowledge of gas distribution regulations, and the ability to train field staff. You will lead during outages, coordinate with regulators, and prepare reports while maintaining confidential company

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 or more years’ relevant experience preferred.
Associate Degree with a minimum of 5 or more years’ relevant experience preferred.
High School Diploma/GED with 7 or more years’ relevant experience and completion of progression program.

Responsibilities

Oversee in-house crews and contractors in gas ops, scheduling and assigning work.
Assess project scope, balance crew skills, and arrange equipment and materials.
Monitor gas records for audit and ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate safety training, inspections and investigations.
Support management with safe work environments and regulatory compliance.
Lead during outages and emergencies, coordinating with regulators and teams.
