ArborMetrics in Clarion, PA is seeking a Utility Forester/Work Planner to support vegetation management for utility corridors. You will organize patrol records, assess sites for habitats, and plan field activities while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Ideal candidates have forestry degree or related experience, GIS and Microsoft Office skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Training and certification support are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline (education may be required depending on contract).
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification and common computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits and maintain documentation.
• Review work sites for endangered species, sensitive habitats, and vegetation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors and classify work per standards and client directives.
• Conduct tree risk assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Coordinate with property owners, agencies, and stakeholders; obtain permissions.
• Address safety, compliance, and customer service needs; support storm response.
