Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner/Forester to join the team. The role focuses on outdoor vegetation management, field data collection, and ensuring safety and compliance in daily field activities.

You will work both independently and with a team, using GIS and software tools to document vegetation and support utility clients. The position emphasizes safety, training, and ongoing professional development in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with vegetation management and safety practices.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety standards including wildfire prevention and injury prevention protocols.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect vegetation work and document data on customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and communicate with leadership and clients.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
