ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to support outdoor vegetation management along utility corridors in Utah. This role suits entry level and seasoned foresters with education in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, or environmental studies, and involves tree identification, inspection, and evaluation along lines.

Qualifications

• 2-year or 4-year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR high school diploma/GED plus 2 years of Utility Vegetation Management or related experience.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist preferred.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GIS data collection software/hardware preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated, organized and production oriented; able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Multi-tasking and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
