Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions seeks a Consulting Utility Forester - ISA Arborist in Louisburg, NC to join our vegetation management team. The Work Planner will support field operations, ensure safety, and collect vegetation data using tablets and GIS tools.

Responsibilities include safety & compliance, field site inspections, data entry, and coordinating with clients and landowners. ISA certification and outdoor work readiness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, invasive species management, and understanding of tree growth patterns.
Ability to hike/Walk Right-of-Ways and drive for extended periods.
ISA or equivalent certification.
2-3 years of UVM experience with Forestry or relevant degree OR 3-5 years of UVM in lieu of degree.
Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance: Identify and report safety hazards and follow safety standards.
Field Operations: Safely drive to work sites and hike ROWs; inspect vegetation work and document data.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Address customer concerns; communicate with leadership and clients.
Emergency Response & Other Responsibilities: Participate in storm and emergency response duties; perform additional duties.
