Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC Foreperson is responsible for supervising daily crew operations, coordinating with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols, and mentoring crew members on job execution.

The role requires troubleshooting site issues, enforcing OSHA standards, maintaining records, and communicating with property owners. A valid CDL and strong leadership are essential; physical stamina is required for fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Capable of independent action with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work scope; refers issues to supervisor.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of work.
• Reports incidents and crew performance to supervisors.
• Controls crew costs and manages equipment and methods.
