Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily field operations, coordinate crew tasks, and enforce safety protocols across assigned projects in Colorado. You’ll troubleshoot site issues, mentor crew members, and partner with management to meet deadlines and quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, field training ability, and the capacity to travel for storm work while maintaining excellent customer relations and compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have previous line clearance experience.
• Ability to read drawings and symbols for lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Capable of independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not exceeding ~300 pounds due to equipment limits.
• Not afraid of heights and able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Interacts with property owners to obtain access and address concerns.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Promotes good customer relations through completed work.
• Manages crew costs and efficient use of resources.
• Reports incidents and equipment issues to management.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspections of vehicles.
