Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full‑time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead on-site construction projects nationwide. You will supervise field crews, coordinate with customers and subs, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met across welding and tank construction tasks.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and hands-on leadership to drive projects to on‑time completion while maintaining high workmanship and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organization skills required.
• Ability to solve problems and suggest improvements to systems.
• Welding experience is a plus; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and field leadership on construction projects.
• Act as point of contact with customers, vendors, and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity on the jobsite.
• Understand contract scope and identify field changes (change orders).
• Foster a safety culture and ensure quality workmanship on all tasks.
• Lead and train field personnel; support recruiting and development.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly cared for and maintained.
