Tech24 is seeking Regular Full Time Technicians in Elkridge, MD to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial cooking equipment at customer locations. The role demands strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Technicians operate in the field, ensuring safe and efficient kitchen operations to minimize downtime and sustain business continuity.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial cooking equipment repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, mixers, dishwashers, flattops, holding cabinets, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Test components and verify proper operation after repairs
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
• Participate in on--call rotation as assigned
