Tech24 in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Foodservice (Hot-Side) Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial cooking equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment runs safely to minimize downtime and support business continuity.

We value strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Competenze

• 3–5+ years of commercial cooking equipment repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Able to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
• Own industry-standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, mixers, dishwashers, flattops, holding cabinets, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations.
• Test components and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
• Participate in on--call rotation as assigned.
