Job summary

Lewis Services in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to support field fleet operations, perform maintenance on off-road equipment, and keep assets ready for service. This role requires hands-on mechanical work in outdoor environments, travel to field locations, and a focus on reducing downtime.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, complete repairs, document work orders, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a mobile mechanic or similar maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to travel frequently to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on off-road equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Complete minor to moderate repairs on fleet assets.
• Identify and report safety or compliance concerns.
• Document field service work through internal work orders.
• Coordinate with Fleet Coordinators on repair scheduling.
