Michels Corporation is seeking a Field Fleet Electronics Technician to test, troubleshoot and repair aftermarket electronic systems on fleet equipment, including GPS, digital mobile radio, ELD, and cameras. You will work across multiple locations with a focus on accuracy and independent problem solving.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair, wiring and system programming, with a strong commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in auto wiring.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Basic 12-volt electrical understanding.
• Experience replacing GPS, Radio, dash cameras and ELD hardware on fleet equipment.
• Ability to link GPS devices to Verizon Connect Fleet Tracking.
• Program and reprogram radios with pre-determined code plugs.
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot and repair aftermarket electronic systems on fleet equipment.
• Work on GPS, digital mobile radio, ELD and camera systems across locations.
• Maintain high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
